Membrane Switch is an electrical switch with graphic overlay, logo , symbol display and spacer sealed together for turning a circuit on and off . Membrane switch typically comprises of four layers , top layer which is the graphic interface , upper circuit, spacer and lower circuit . For a light touch connectivity , membrane switches under normal conditions the upper and lower contact is disconnected but upon pressing the contact point between two traces would  turn the circuit on .Conversely ,when un-pressed ,two traces are disconnected thus turn the circuit off. A membrane switch structure ranges from simple to complex ,  good appearance , ease of cleaning ,  excellent sealing ability, humidity proof and  highly durable .
