Environmentally-friendly Material TPU
TPU is composed of methylene diphenyl diisocyanate (MDI) or toluene diisocyanate (TDI) etc. molecules of diisocyanates and macromolecules, low molecular weight polyol (extender) bonded together under common reaction of polymerization to polymer material. Its molecular structure is made up of methylene diphenyl diisocyanate (MDI) or toluene diisocyanate (TDI) and the chain-extending reaction for the hard block and methylene diphenyl diisocyanate (MDI) or toluene diisocyanate (TDI), including molecular and macromolecular isocyanate reaction of polyols for flexible chains are composed alternatively. TPU has excellent high tension, high tensile strength, toughness, and anti-aging properties, is a kind of environmentally-friendly material. Currently, TPU is widely applied to medical health, electrical appliances, industrial and the sports aspects. It has characteristics that overtake other plastic material by high intensity, good tenacity, wear resisting, cold-resistant, oil resistant, water resistant, anti-aging, climate resistant, while it also has many excellent functions such as highly waterproof, breathable, windproof, cold-proof, antibacterial, mildew proof, warm, anti-UV and release of energy.
